Hello

I am Andro Atienza and I am a graphic designer.*

Born and raised in the Philippines, I was pretty much a suit as soon as I entered the “real world”. Having graduated with a degree in Marketing and Communications, I thought that I was well on my way to being an average joe with a nine-to-fiver, as to which I was very much content with..for the most part.

Yet after years being in the chase, it dawned me that the cheese alone would not satisfy my creative cravings. I packed it up and decided to move to Vancouver and take up Electronic Media Design and Concept and Ideation design programs in Langara College to pursue this calling. In all my years, that was the single most “impulse” I thank the stars for doing.

With experience in brand marketing and product management in my back pocket, I was able to further wrap myself up with my love/passion/obsession with print, packaging design and branding.

When I’m not running concepts and dielines, picturing logos and creating 30 second spots in my head, I’m usually out running marathons, drinking coffee and browsing up magazines (without ever having to buy them) to fuel more of these thoughts in my brain.

Design, as it turns out, has become a way of life more than just what I though was a career shift. I have been ridden, bitten and smitten and I consider myself eternally blessed to have found that one thing I want to do for the rest of my life.
